What to know
Where are the pop up rides located?
Our temporary space is located at 401-C Foster Street, Durham- right by the Durham Farmer’s Market.
DOES THE TEMPORARY SPACE HAVE PARKING?
While we don’t have dedicated parking, there is ample parking around the temporary space. Be sure to give yourself a little extra time on Saturday mornings because of the Durham Farmers’ Market and note that Foster Street will be closed between Corporation Street and Hunt Street during that time.
I’m a first time rider, what do I need to know?
First, we are so excited to ride with you! Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring a water bottle. We will also provide towels and spin shoes for you to wear. If you have your own spin shoes with either SPD or Delta cleats, great! Last, if you’re nervous, don’t be - we’re here for you.
HOW IS THE POP UP CLASS DIFFERENT?
Our pop up classes are located in a temporary space that we will use while we finish construction in our permanent studio. The temporary space is not built to be a spin studio- if you’re familiar with boutique indoor cycling, you’ll notice a difference. That said, we couldn’t wait any longer to ride! What we don’t have in lighting and sound, we will make up for with energy.
Do i need to bring my own shoes?
You must wear clip in shoes to ride at Revel. We will have shoes available to use, but you may also bring your own cycling shoes. Our bikes are compatible with either SPD or Delta cleats.
what else do i need to bring?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and a full water bottle (we don’t have a water filling station at the temporary space). We will provide the rest!
Does your studio have showerS?
Our temporary location does not have showers. However, we will have showers at our permanent location in The Novus!
HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS?
You can book a class using our free Revel Durham app for iOS and Android or through our website at www.reveldurham.com. Classes will go live on Sundays at 3:00pm for the upcoming week. Day One Members will have access to two weeks.
what happens if i need to cancel class?
Day One Members can cancel classes 6 hours or more before class start time with no fee; if Day One Members cancel within 6 hours of class, there is a late cancellation fee of $15. All other riders may cancel class 12 hours or more before class start time with no fee; if you cancel within 12 hours of class, there is a late cancellation fee of $15 and you will lose your credit.
what happens if i do not show up for class?
No show fees are $15 for pop up rides.
what happens if I’M ON THE WAITLIST?
